MMA Sweet Tweets V.7: The Ultimate Follow Friday-TUF 12 Edition
A beautiful woman with brains and ambition is an unstoppable force that if properly motivated could take over the world at the snap of her fingers.
Also it helps if they have really big boobs because legend has it that women with humongous melons tend to have bigger brains than smaller breasted females.
It’s kind of like that old wives tale with men and the size of their pointer fingers in relation to the size of their… well, um, you get the point.
Canadian MMA writer/model Erin McDougall has potential to not only take over the world but also the entire universe.
Unless you live in Amish-ville and do not have access to the worldwide web (I don’t know how you people survive), you would remember that I featured Erin on volume 2 of MMA Sweet Tweets over a month ago.
Since then we have formed the ultimate alliance and starting this week we will be hosting our very own Ultimate Fighter season 12 radio show.
Speaking of TUF 12, this week’s edition of MMA Sweet Tweets will feature several fighters from the cast. Like always, I will also mention other cool MMA personalities such as journalists, ring girls, promoters and even the fans themselves.
But first be sure to follow my lovely soon to be radio show co-host, Erin McDougall aka the pink power ranger.
Marc Stevens
1 of 18
“Remember me now?”
Those were the words Marc Stevens uttered at his former wrestling coach Josh Koscheck after scoring a 13 second knockout victory over T.J O’Brian to earn a spot in the TUF house.
Koscheck may not remember coaching Stevens at the University of Buffalo but all it took was a mere 13 seconds for both TUF 12 coaches to realize the brute power Stevens possesses as a fighter.
With deadly knockout power and a solid collegiate wrestling background, Stevens could be viewed as an early favorite to win the entire competition.
Something tells me he will be chosen fairly early in the team selections next week, maybe even the number one pick.
Recent sweet tweet: “"Remember me now" shirts coming soon.. Let's try to outsell @JoeLauzon's shamrock shirts!!!! Pphhff shhyyeaah right”
Spencer Paige
2 of 18
If Marc Stevens earned hypothetical knockout of the night honors during the TUF 12 elimination round fights, Spencer Paige picked up the fight of the night honors.
Paige defeated Steve Magdelano in a back and forth battle mostly consisting of fast paced action on the feet.
You could tell that both lightweights wanted to advance into the house more than anything and they left it all on the line, Paige was just a little hungrier and picked up the decision victory.
With a 7-2 record and deadly well-rounded skills, Paige has potential to go far in this competition.

Kyle Watson
3 of 18
A product of Matt Hughes’ H.I.T Squad, Kyle Watson earned a spot in the house this season with an impressive rear naked choke submission victory over Joseph Duffy.
Fans watching at home were only able to see a highlight of this fight but you can watch the entire bout online at UltimateFighter.com.
Watson is the head Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor at the H.I.T Squad and as proven in his fight to get into the house, his ground game is very dangerous.

Dayna La Belle
4 of 18
This gorgeous blonde is not part of the TUF 12 cast—although I did have a dream once that she and I were chilling naked in the TUF mansion hot tub drinking a few beers but that is a tale for a different story.
Dayna La Belle is sponsored by Carls Jr. and is a self proclaimed lioness. What this means is, she gets as many free Jalapeño burgers as she wants and has pictures of angry lions having sex in her twitter background.
On a serious note, she’s a very passionate MMA aficionado and I always support those who share my passion. Check her out http://missdayna.blogspot.com/ and also follow her on twitter… she might be a lioness but she doesn’t bite, or does she?
Recent sweet tweet: “That's right people! RT @tcarr184: Make sure to keep an eye out for @UnfilteredMMA @missDAYNUH and myself on HDNet Fights tonight...”
Andy Main
5 of 18
Underestimated and underappreciated, Andy Main could follow in the footsteps of fellow New Jersey native Frankie Edgar someday and become UFC lightweight champion.
First things first, Main will have to prove himself in The Ultimate Fighter house. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for the Jersey kid and judging by his first elimination round fight—which was a triangle choke submission victory over Jason Brenton—Main is giving it everything he’s got.
Recent sweet tweet: “Keep an eye on Channel 12 News today to see a segment featuring myself and Sean Santella at AMA FIGHT CLUB”
Jeff Lentz
6 of 18
Speaking of New Jersey, Pellegrino MMA’s Jeff Lentz wasn’t even supposed to make it into the house. At least according to UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre who crossed Lentz off the list before the red-haired warrior even stepped into the Octagon.
Lentz proved GSP wrong by completely dominating Daniel Head with a vicious onslaught of ground and pound followed by a rear naked choke finish.
After the fight, coach Koscheck let Lentz know about GSP crossing his name out. Lentz brushed it off replying “no worries, you can never count me out”.
Could Jeff Lentz be the next Ultimate Fighter?

MMA Beatdown
7 of 18
MMA Beatdown is a radio show hosted via MMATortureHouse.com and is considered to be the new driving force in sports radio.
The show is no holds barred meaning they could literally spank a Llama on the show and they wouldn’t get thrown off the air. Hell, they could pimp slap a mentally challenged giraffe or give a moose a chocolate laxative muffin if they wanted to.
Follow the beatdown on twitter unless you’re an evil robot… no evil robots allowed!
Recent sweet tweet: “@ANTHONYRUMBLE Same in NY. We got raped by a tornado yesterday but today is gorgeous, go figure.”
AmberMMA
8 of 18
Speaking of MMA Beatdown, AmberMMA is one of the shmexy co-hosts.
Recently out of twitter jail—oh yes there is a twitter jail—Amber is a die-hard fan and student of the sport.
Amber trains in the sport on a consistent basis which means she can pretty much dump you on your head and a pound a hole in your face, and unlike Chael Sonnen she will finish you. She’s super passionate about MMA and an overall really friendly person.

Alex Caceres Aka Bruce LeeRoy
9 of 18
When I first saw Alex Caceres strut down to the Octagon with his yellow jumpsuit and big afro, the first thought that entered my mind was “God, I hope this kid gets beat up”.
In fact I believe I said it best in a recent tweet of mine before Caceres’ preliminary fight on the show: “Oh God, let's hope the wheel barrow takes out afro ninja... hey listen I'm unbiased but when it comes to afro picks I draw the line”
However as I soon found out, the man nicknamed “Bruce LeeRoy” actually has some pretty sweet skills. His standup looks solid and obviously his jiu-jitsu ability is on point as well considering he choked Paul Barrow out with a tight rear naked choke.
But still, thanks to Jamie Yager I have a difficult time rooting for any fighter rocking an afro. Luckily I’m an MMA writer and we are not supposed to root for anyone… unless they bribe us with a couple of Benjamin’s if you catch my drift.

Dane Sayers
10 of 18
Dane Sayers is the perfect example of just how unpredictable MMA truly is. The Blackfoot Chippewa Native American was getting—for lack of a better term—his ass handed to him by his opponent Ariel Sexton.
Sexton was in complete control of the matchup but Sayers displayed his tremendous resiliency and pure heart to pull off the come from behind submission victory. It just goes to show you that no matter what you can never count a fighter out in mixed martial arts competition.
The question now arises, can Sayers become the next Ultimate Fighter? One thing is for sure, if anything can be learned from previous seasons, it’s to never underestimate an underdog.

Inside The Ultimate Fighter
11 of 18
Now that we’ve gotten the TUF 12 cast out of the way—from what I understand only seven out of the 14 fighters have twitter accounts but I could be wrong—be sure to follow the official twitter page of The Ultimate Fighter.
Also follow the beautiful Nicole Alves of Spike TV and sign the petition that Alves should be the host of TUF 13 because she’s way hotter than Willa Ford.
Plus, follow the TUF 12 coaches
Catherine Armstrong
12 of 18
As you can see, Catherine Armstrong is quite the hottie. She is also a die-hard MMA fan and secretly a warrior princess.
If you’re not following her, you obviously aren’t cool. Don’t you want to be cool? Then follow Miss Armstrong although I warn you, her eyes are hypnotic.

Natalie Skyyy
13 of 18
This beautiful blonde bombshell looks like an angel that was dropped from Heaven.
God just one day said “you know what? Let’s send this gorgeous angel down to earth to drive the male population crazy just for kicks and giggles.”
Natalie Skyy is another beautiful woman with ambition and like I always say there is nothing more attractive than a chick with the drive to accomplish big things.
She’s been involved in modeling and dancing since age 9 and is now a big part of the MMA community as both a model and a ring girl. You’ll be hearing a lot more about Natalie Skyy in the future that’s for sure, and of course seeing a lot more of her too.
Recent sweet tweet: “Tom stop hitting on my girlfriend! RT @Giselle_Diaz: @UnfilteredMMA yayaya buddy!!!”
TapouT Crooklyn
14 of 18
As the host of TapouT Radio, Crooklyn is pretty much a big deal. She’s a very articulate radio show personality and is very well respected in the MMA community.
She already has about 4,000 followers on twitter but if you help her get to 5,000 you win a free pony and a box of snicker doodles.
Recent sweet tweet: “Hey guys, please add my dear friends @tapoutwatches new facebook page to your facebook! www.facebook.com/tapoutxwatches”
Gia Howland
15 of 18
If you folks think I’m crazy and random, wait until you read Gia Howland’s tweets.
Training under Duke Roufus in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Gia is quite the unique personality. One minute she’s sending me drunken tweets about punching care bears in the face, and the next she’s posting on my facebook wall about how it’s humanly impossible to lick your own elbow.
Point being, she’s a super cool girl and she’s very passionate about this sport.
Recent sweet tweet: “@mitchciccarelli I'm already immortal. Not like that sparkle vampire fu*k edward...but like awesome immortal. Lol”
Jon Lane
16 of 18
He might not be Chael Sonnen’s favorite writer but make no mistake about it, Jon Lane is one of the best in the business right now.
An MLB and MMA writer based out of New York City, Lane has had his work featured in several mainstream media outlets including MMA Junkie.
Lane and I currently work together over at Heavy MMA and he is also a feature writer for TapouT Magazine.
He’s not only a great writer, but a devoted family man as well. He’s definitely worth following on twitter.
Recent sweet tweet: “More proof Yogi is a genius. The #RedSox have won four straight entering tonight and won't go away”
Aspen Anasi
17 of 18
Aspen Anasi is this week’s winner of the MMA Sweet Tweets Open Invitational. She stepped up to the plate, accepted my challenge and earned a spot here on the seventh installment of MMA Sweet Tweets.
I’ve only recently gotten a chance to know Aspen so I don’t know entirely too much about her. However, from what I can tell, she’s a very friendly woman with a great sense of humor.
She is also a music artist profiler and song writer.
I am now adding Aspen to the official “Mitch Ciccarelli Pancake Club”, a club including the likes of Tracy Lee, Shelby Belfast Jones and Mark “FightShark” Miller.
Recent sweet tweet: “Better. I may be 5'2" but I am feisty. LOL. I'll just start pitying the other guy in advance. ;-) RT @GrayMaynard: @AspenAnansi for sure!!”
