The Macho Rhino NFL Power Rankings Heading To Week 2 Of The 2010 Season

Macho RhinoSep 16, 2010

Week 1 is over so it’s time to assess the teams after their first game of the season. Here are our rankings for all 32 of the NFL teams.

1. New Orleans Saints – Weren’t overly impressive but beat a good Vikings team.
2. Baltimore Ravens – The defense is nasty and the offense have threats down the field now.
3. Green Bay Packers – The Ryan Grant injury could become an issue.
4. Houston Texans – Impressive win dominating the Colts on the ground.
5. Indianapolis Colts – Peyton Manning still can sling it all over the field but the Colts don’t want him throwing 50+ passes a game.
6. Minnesota Vikings – The offense was a little out of sync but Favre should start to develop a connection with his wideouts soon.
7. New York Jets – Still an outstanding defense but the offense will have to improve greatly. The loss of Kris Jenkins hurts.
8. New England Patriots – The offense looks like it’s back to form with Wes Welker.
9. Tennessee Titans – The defense looks good as usual and Vince Young is playing very well again. Of course Chris Johnson should be about 150 yards a game.
10. Cincinnati Bengals – Talented but can’t expect teams to just roll over.
11. Philadelphia Eagles – Young but talented and if the QB controversy doesn’t distract them, could be a playoff team.
12. New York Giants – Defense is improving and offense is still good.
13. Miami Dolphins – They got a divisional road win to start the year. Now they get a tough test in week 2.
14. Pittsburgh Steelers – They got a big win over Atlanta and are a playoff contender.
15. Atlanta Falcons – Matt Ryan has to play better.
16. Seattle Seahawks – Great performance in running off 31 straight against the 49ers.
17. Kansas City Chiefs – Have to get the offense to catch-up with the defense and special teams.
18. Washington Redskins – Defense looked good but the offense has to get better.
19. San Diego Chargers – They’ve got to get Marcus McNeil and Vincent Jackson back ASAP.
20. Dallas Cowboys – Until they learn to make better decisions on the field, they’re going to be a disappointing team.
21. San Francisco 49ers – Hugely disappointing start. The doubts are back for Alex Smith.
22. Carolina Panthers – Matt Moore must play better if they’re going to contend.
23. Chicago Bears – Bears got lucky to win week 1 and need to find a way to score more points going forward.
24. Detroit Lions – Just a terrible start to the season as Matthew Stafford gets hurt and they’re robbed of a win by a bogus call.
25. Jacksonville Jaguars – David Garrard played well and they need to get
26. Denver Broncos – Should be competitive all season but won’t win much.
27. Oakland Raiders – They didn’t really show up in Tennessee.
28. Buffalo Bills – Solid defense but can’t make plays down the field.
29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Inexperienced team got a win in week 1.
30. Arizona Cardinals – Maybe they should send some guys to Kurt Warner’s house and beg him to come back.
31. St. Louis Rams – Sam Bradford should improve each week but he’ll need more talent around him for the Rams to win many games.
32. Cleveland Browns – It’s just gonna be a long season in Cleveland.
