The Big Ten Freshman of the Week from this past Saturday’s games hails from Illinois.

Indiana has a game this weekend against Western Kentucky after a 16-day layoff.

It’s all praises for Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz when you ask Arizona head coach Mike Stoops about him.

The newest member of any and every Heisman watch list, Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson mentioned that he “[doesn’t] pay attention to none of that—[he doesn’t] even have cable.”

Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio on his team not playing their best: “That’s a positive.”

Minnesota and the USC Trojans will meet for the first time since 1980.

For five Northwestern players, this weekend’s game at Rice will be somewhat of a homecoming.

When Jim Tressel thinks polls and rankings, he does not care about Ohio State being No. 2 in the country…he cares about them being No. 113.

Penn State running back Stephfon Green said that if the Nittany Lions had executed plays, they would have beat Alabama.

Purdue quarterback Robert Marve on one of his teammates: “You will never ever question his effort or look back and tell him he wasn't assignment sound.”

After suffering a pretty big blow last Saturday, Wisconsin kick returner David Gilreath is not listed on the Badgers’ depth chart for this weekend’s game against Arizona State.
