Dustin Johnson Wins BMW Championship and Will Contend For Player Of The Year
Dustin Johnson buried the US Open ghosts with a win at the BMW Championship and now has a chance for Player of the Year honors and the Fed Ex Cup Championship.
The win places him in second in the Fed Ex Cup standings.
Matt Kuchar is first and has an equal chance of winning all that mentioned above as well.
Tiger Woods on the other end of the golf spectrum is finished for the season without a win and now awaits Ryder Cup action.
Matt Kuchar is going to a place and golf course he knows well for the Players Championship in two weeks, as he enters the Georgia Hall of Fame in October.
Ernie Els has a chance to win the Player of the Year honors as well, and the Fed Ex Cup if he can win in two weeks.
Charlie Wi just missed going to the Players Championship by one shot as he comes in disappointed on Sunday.
Bill Haas just got into the top 30, a hair over Ricky Fowler at number 31.
It will be a lot of fun to watch in two weeks as the season play out for the PGA Tour in 2010.
I think it's between Kuchar and Johnson now for the top PGA honors.
Now as K.J.Choi posts his score, Haas is back out of the top 30 and will miss the Players Championship.
Ryan Moore is now trying to make a two putt from the fringe to stay in the top 30 as well.
Good luck to the top 30 seeds as they make their way to the Players Championship.
