NFL Week 1 Fantasy Football Sit Em', Start Em', What The?
With only training camp reports, pre-season action, and gut feelings to get you through the first week of the season, here is a little help to get you going. Besides, it is never a good idea to use pre-season games as your judge to sit or start, you end up fielding a team with Sam Bradford, Victor Cruz, and Rob Gronkowski. Maybe later on down the line, but let's play it safe this week. So here we go...
Start Em'
1 of 4
Start-
QB-Jay Cutler- His Arm+Mike Martz's Brain+Detroit Defense= DO IT!
RB-Jamaal Charles- Good matchup, he will split time with Thomas Jones, but there will be plenty of carries to share in this one against a battered San Diego defense.
WR-Brandon Marshall- Love this match-up against the Bills. Good news for his owners... He plays them twice.
TE-Brent Celek- Kevin Kolb will look to his TE early and when in trouble. Expect that often against a good Green Bay Defense
Sit Em'

Sit Em'-
QB- Donovan McNabb- His injury should weigh on your mind, so should the fact he has very little to work with at wide receiver and Mike Shannahan likes to run early and often. Dallas defense is happy he is playing, you wont be if you start him.
RB- Joseph Addai- He will be splitting carries with Donald Brown and Peyton loves to chuck it against Houston. The roof is being closed due to rain so the ball will be in the air in bunches today.
WR- Steve Smith (NYG)- Pass rush will be heavy and Coughlin has healthy running backs, Heavy dose of Brandon Jacobs in this one I'm afraid.
TE- Owen Daniels- The Texans were encouraged enough in his recovery to start him this week, but Indy is usually sharp against the tight end. Andre' Johnson and the WR corps are in for a good week but I think Daniels gets left behind.
What The?
3 of 4
In this weeks installment of "What The?" we look at some players that may help give you a push in a pinch.
QB- Chad Henne- If you loaded up on position players in the draft and took a QB late, you may have ended up with Henne. That is OK (this week). The Bills are, well, the Bills and Henne now has a new toy at wide receiver.
RB- Tim Hightower- No Beanie Wells, Rams Defense... You know you're curious.
WR- Legedu Naanee- With Vincent Jackson out for his inability to call a cab most will look to Malcolm Floyd to grab up catches. While true, Rivers loves to throw long and Naanee can stretch the field.
TE- Dustin Keller- The Jets and Ravens are going to beat the hell out of each other, and that means that Keller will find himself occasionally open. He usually makes the best of those opportunities.
Game TIme!

Grab a beer, get your popcorn ready, and if at all possible, drag another TV into the living room. The season is finally here.
