Ricky Hatton Snorts: The Hitman Caught On Video Taking Multiple Hits Of Cocaine

Three years ago Ricky Hatton was on top of the world. He was undefeated, one of the most popular sports figures in Manchester England and was preparing for the fight of his life against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

He of course was embarrassed by Money May and two years later annihilated by Manny Pacquiao, in just two rounds.

He hasn't stepped foot in a ring since.

Just when it seemed like Hatton has faded into retirement never to be heard from again, his world and reputation came crashing down Sunday morning when a video was leaked onto the Internet showing the 31-year-old snorting several lines of cocaine after downing an insane amount of alcohol.

In a short statement the Hitman acknowledged the bad example his behavior sets for kids who idolize him and he apologized to his family, friends, and fans. However, he has yet to admit that he does in fact have a cocaine problem.

His drug addiction is reportedly nothing new to close family and friends who fear for his life if he doesn’t seek help soon.

A spokesperson for the fighter has said the video helped Hatton reach rock bottom and now realizes he needs to sort himself out.

Maybe the saddest news of all is that Hatton has never officially retired and was supposedly planning a comeback to the ring after his long layoff.

While he was always an exciting fighter he never had the skill set to compete with elite talent in the ring. Let’s just hope he puts any plans to return on hold until he gets his life straightened out.
