Do You Understand What I'm Saying To You Right Now:Best Mic-Workers In WWE Today

Alright Bleacher's I'm back with another one. Yesterday I published two slideshows on TNA's and WWE's best Wrestlers. Some of the Feedback I received was that I didn't include great Mic workers. The article was based on wrestling ability, not how good you can cut a promo.

Truth is I already had constructed this list, but I wanted to see how many would criticize me for not including guys like The Miz, Edge, and most of all CM Punk. Now we all know that you don't have to be a good wrestler to become a Main Eventer. All most need is being able to cut a promo to get heat, or loud crowd pops.

That doesn't help them in the long run as most of us IWC Members criticize bad wrestlers. Cena is a perfect example of this, including The Miz. 

But IT WORKS, Cena is a multiple time World Champion, The Miz is walking around with the MITB, he is going to be holding the WWE Title sooner rather than later.

So here you have it, and we are starting this list with.....

CM Punk

The Straight Edge Messiah, CM Punk. I went with Punk first because of the grief I got about not including him on the best wrestler's list. I don't know about that, but Punk definitely deserves a spot on this list. They say he saved the 900th episode of RAW. 

I don't think that show was savable but Punk's promo was one of the best I've heard in a while.  Bashing the Rock & Stone Cold. It was incredible.

Now some make the argument that Punk was dull & boring when he was a face. 

But Punk was in a feud with John Morrison on ECW. He cut promo's that were pretty good to. Punk is so great because he can cut a good promo no matter what, face or heel. Not many can do that. Good examples are Lucky Cannon & John Morrison himself. 

Punk is arguably the best talker in the WWE right now. His promo's on Jeff Hardy were some of the best to. 

Once he leaves those two riding his co-tails, he can get back what is truly his. The World Heavyweight Title.

Because he's straight edge & he's better than YOU.

Edge

The Rate R Superstar, Edge! Now Edge is like Punk. He can cut a promo as a heel or a face. Though for the majority of his career, Edge has definitely been a heel. As of late it seems as if the Superstar is losing his touch.

He hasn't been a World Champion in over a year, but hey Randy Orton hasn't either.

Edge's promos on the Undertaker & Batista were some of his best. I enjoyed his time on Smackdown, and I hope he makes his return there next month. I really got into Edge once he began his heel turn back in 2004. I had gotten use to seeing him as a face, and it was very surprising to see him slowly turning.

His promo's were getting a lot better. He wasn't pandering to the crowd. He was hated for the situation with Lita & Matt Hardy.

Everything was working for him. 

Still is except he is missing the Crown Jewel.

His promo with R Truth a few weeks ago signify's he hasn't lost a step. 

Better yet his promo with Orton on the Cutting Edge. He is back. He will be Champion again. Like it or not.

Chris Jericho

Before I start, I want you to take out your cell phones, text your friends, take a picture, shoot a video, send a email, call em all and tell them that the Sexy Beast is back baby! Thats amazing. I will never forget that line as long as I live. A face promo from Y2J, after his return.

I can say this without a doubt in my mind, Y2J is the best Mic-worker in the WWE. 

If it's calling the Audience hypocrites or Jericholics, he can make it sound great. Talk about the full package, this guy is. He is an excellent wrestler and cuts amazing promo's.

Jericho is that guy you love to hate. No matter what the situation, he can make the crowd pay attention.

Some of Jericho's best promo work would be on John Cena, Edge, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, & Stone Cold Steve Austin. 

A great example of Jericho's heel work would be back when everyone expected The Rock to take his Undisputed Title. Full of emotion & anger. Be sure to watch it.

Back in WCW, they said he would never make it to the top. He would be a mid carder for life. 

He proved them wrong. 

Wanna know why? 

Because he is the BEST IN THE WORLD AT WHAT HE DOES.

The Miz

Because I'm the Miz and I'm AWWWWWWFUULLLLLLLL, in the ring that is. Miz's promo make up for his average wrestling ability. Miz is another one who proved many wrong, including us in the IWC. When he and John Morrison were teaming, JoMo was obviously the Star.

When they were going to break up, JoMo was going on to the Main Event, Miz was going to the Unemployment line. But no, he made it. He is walking around with a sure fire WWE Title Match in the future. 

Where is John Morrison? Just getting back to his winning ways. 

The Miz's promo with Daniel Bryan & his rise in the WWE on Monday was awesome. Vince McMahon has called this guy the future of the WWE. He said the same thing about Cena four years ago.

Look at him now. Once Y2J leaves the WWE, I believe this guy will take his spot as the best talker in the WWE. But will have some stiff competition in CM Punk & Del Rio.

He is involved in the Hottest Feud with Daniel Bryan. He is going to make Bryan more of a Star then he is when he drops the U.S. Title to him.

The Miz is going to carry the WWE on through the next decade. 

Because he's the Miz & he's AWESOME!!!!!

Randy Orton

The Age of Orton is upon us. Randy Orton is closing in one the Face of WWE spot. Very fast. The Viper has been on a role lately. RKO after RKO. Laying out four stars on Monday. But before Orton was the Viper.

He was the Legend Killer. Arrogant SOB trashing Legends on the mic before dropping them with an RKO. Mick Foley would be an example of this. Spitting in their faces, week in week out. Harley Race, Jake the Snake, even Mark Cuban himself.

Orton now the Viper. cut one of the most intense & shocking promo's I've ever seen. He told Stephanie McMahon, "Say the same word's your father was about to say right before I kicked him in the Skull!!.

Full of emotion, and he made you believe it.

What a way to grow.

Now he is more popular than the Poster Boy John Cena himself.

What's next for the Viper? The WWE Championship

One week away the Viper has 6 competitors vying for the Holy Grail. My prediction is him or Barrett to rise to the occasion.
