Big 12 Preview for Week 2: What You Need To Watch

Oklahoma vs. Florida State:

Big game.  Lots of noise.  Oklahoma has the better defense, they are at home, and will score on a still-suspect Seminole defense.

Texas vs. Wyoming:

Time for Texas to regroup a bit.  Wyoming is bad.  Really bad.  'Horns in a rout from beginning to end.

Texas 42,  Wyoming 10

Texas A&M vs. Lousiana Tech:

Another likely laugher, but at the very least we'll be able to see if the 'wrecking crew' has some life.

Texas Tech at New Mexico:

Oregon beat these guys 72-0 with the 'spread' read option.  Texas Tech will attack these sorry Aggies with a four- and five-wide true 'spread' passing attack.

Book a blow out.

Baylor vs. Buffalo:

Buffalo is bad.  Really bad.  Baylor rolls again.  Look for supreme excitement out of Griffin, and look for the Bears to roll.

Oklahoma State vs. Troy: 

A better opponent than Washington State, if you can actually believe that.  Troy will give OSU some problems. 

Don't be shocked if Troy pulls the outright upset, and OSU gets their first real challenge with adversity.

Nebraska vs. Idaho:

A picture-perfect offense for the Bo Pelini defense: a QB who will want to sit in the pocket. 

An undermanned and overwhelmed Idaho defense will feel some sting from a new-found hound Husker offense.

Missouri vs. McNeese State:

No line.  No worries.  Blaine Gabbert pads some stats and Missouri lets out some frustration from their contest with Illinois.

Colorado @ California:

Cal starts fast and ends weak. Colorado starts slow and ends strong.

California 38 , Colorado 13

Kansas vs. Georgia Tech:

13 1/2 is all?.  KU just got beat by an FCS school, right?  And only scored three points.  Big 12 shocker as KU regroups and pulls off one of the biggest upsets of the weekend.

Kansas State vs. Missouri State:

This one will be ugly.  Daniel Thomas will run for 200 or more, but it may not be as easy as many think.

Iowa State @ Iowa:

Our first glimpse of whether Iowa is for real.  Maybe.

Too much Robinson and Hampton for the 'Clones to overcome.  Sprinkle in some Stanzi and we have:

Another 11-1 week for the Big 12?  Highly likely.

Big game for OU.  Florida State is more than beatable at home.
