Arsenal V Bolton Pre View

dilshan muthalibSep 9, 2010

At last the dreaded international break is over and has claimed its customary victim in the form of Theo Walcott. Theo was on fire starting to full fill all the promises and on his way to becoming one of the best forwards in EPL, shame his progress has been halted and hope he will recover quick enough. Chelsea played it clever and pulled out Terry and Lampard and may be it is time we start to do the same too.

Back to the game, however much most of the media will try to build this game even with our injuries, we should be able to beat them comfortably at home. It is reported Nasri will be back and sure will be a bonus. Cesc was away with Spain to Argentina so will be interesting to see if Arsene decides to give him the game off. Arshavin has looked tired and reportedly carrying a knock and add to that the poor performance by Russia  he too might benefit from having this weekend off. Vela played only 17  minutes for Maxico so expect him to be fresh.

My preferred line up for this game will be

Alumunia

Sagna Squillaci Vermaelen Clichy

Song Diaby

Whilshere/Nasri  Rosicky Chamakh Vela

It is important that we start the game well and earn the right to play. The first game back from Internationals could often be tricky as we found out last season away to City and Sunderland. This being a home game does help but as Denilson said in his interview Bolton are a team we should beat but not underestimate. They have had a very good start to the season and the fight back in their last game with 10 men will give them a lot of confidence coming into this game. I am expecting a big performance from Vela. With Wellington Silva coming in January and the development of JET failure at this stage could almost end Vela's future prospects with Arsenal.

I am expecting a fairly comfortable 3-0 with Vela getting on the score sheet.
