Week 2….SpartyMSU's BlogPoll Ballot Vote…

During an early morning conf. call with the Delaware Destroyer / Annapolis Antagonist (U of Delaware sports nut), we conclude that there was some movement in the top 25 this week, but just a little shuffle here, and a little shuffle there..ย ย 

We divided up the weekend TV schedule so we could hit several of the gamesโ€ฆ We did get a good look at several teams..

What I canโ€™t understand is the passion about Boise State.. Sure they are the underdog, small school. Sure they have done very well the last couple years.. sure they just beat a top 25 team in Virginia Tech.. Frankly, I had them over rated at top 10, and realized that last night..


Sure they are good, but this coming week, theyโ€™ll play 12 ranch hands for game 2. Its just not one of the Top 5 teams in the nation.. Even if they run the table in their weak conference, theyโ€™d get toasted if they played the Big Ten week inย / week out or the SEC, or even the PAC 10โ€ฆย ย 

So, as my part of the Boise State mania, Iโ€™ll stick them in the top 10, but not top 5โ€ฆ


They could very well go undefeated for the rest of the year due to their weak, weak, weak schedule.. But, after watching them, donโ€™t see them matching up with Alabama, Texas, the Gators, etc.. So, they are #7, and lucky to be there..ย  and probably decline due to their Strength of Schedule and how it hits them each week...

Another note: whats with some votes for the Wolverines in the top 25.. Holy Mother Mary and Joseph.. what hallucinogenic weed are some of these voters smokingโ€ฆ???ย  Notre Dame is going to roast Rich Rodโ€™s team this week..ย 

If my Spartans beat Notre Dame and go into the Wisconsin game undefeated, I will put them in the top 25..
