Green Bay enters their 2010-11 betting campaign after finishing last season 11-5 SU & winning 11 of 16 ATS pleasing NFL bettors. QB Aaron Rodgers and Co. looks to live up to the hype that has them being a Super Bowl contender this year. Their 7th ranked passing offense definitely shouldn’t have a problem scoring this year, while their 3rd ranked defense in the league from last year looks to stay healthy and dominant again in 2010.

The Eagles come into the season without long time QB Donavan McNabb and look for Kevin Kolb to take over the reins. Kolb will look to WR’s DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and TE Brent Celek to help him out, while RB LeSean McCoy will look to pace the ground attack and improve the unit’s 22nd ranked rushing attack from a year ago. The Eagles drafted DE Brandon Graham to help improve their 13th ranked defense from a year ago.

Trends come aplenty for this match-up: Nine of the L/13 games in this series have played to the ‘Under’. In the L/3 years when favored, the Packers have won 14 of the L/22 times while posting a 12-9 ATS record. That said; they haven’t been as lucky on the road during that time frame winning only seven of their L/17 but covering 10 of 17 (1 push) against the closing NFL lines. When dogged the L/3 years, the Eagles haven’t been good going 3-6 SU & 4-5 ATS. At home however during that same stretch, Philly is a $$$-making 12-4 SU & 10-6 ATS.
