2010 AFC South football betting action comes to you Sunday, September 12th from Reliant Stadium in the Lone Star State where the Houston Texans will play host to the division rival Indianapolis Colts; kickoff is set for 1:00 ET. Indianapolis has defeated the Texans each of the L/4 meetings by an average just over five PPG. The Colts swept the season series for the third year in a row squeaking out a win in the first matchup in Indianapolis 20-17 as 7.5-point favorites and winning and covering the rematch in Houston 35-27 as three-point chalk. Points should come aplenty in this match-up of two offensive minded teams.

The Colts come into this season with Super Bowl expectations after finishing last year 13-3 SU & 9-7 ATS. The Colts drafted DE Jerry Hughes and will use him to infuse some youth into the D-Line. QB Peyton Manning will look to help the Colts get back to the Super Bowl and win it after falling just short against the Saints in XLIV. RB’s Joseph Addai and Donald Brown will look to improve the Colts 32nd ranked rushing attack from a year ago.

Houston comes into this season with high hopes after finishing above .500 last season at 9-7 SU, but going 7-8-1 ATS. Their passing attack finished 1st in the league averaging just under 291 YPG, and they will count on QB Matt Schaub and his corps of receivers led by Pro-Bowler Andre Johnson along with TE Owen Daniels to pace the offensive attack again in 2010. They will look for RB’s Arian Foster and Steve Slaton to improve on their 30th ranked rushing attack from a year ago.

Trends come aplenty for this division rival match-up: As a favorite the L/3 years, the Colts have gone 23-6 SU & split their L/28 games ATS (14-14).
