Pac-10 Football Is Better Than SEC Football: LSU Is Scared of Appalachian State

I recently read an article entitled "LSU Fans Tell Appalachian State, 'Not In Our House!'" on Bleacher Report.  Oh, how it made me laugh, almost even cry.

The best part was that it was written by an LSU Tiger fan.  Hilarious.

The fact that LSU even needs to tell the world that App State shouldn't win in their house humors me.

How ridiculous would it sound if Goliath told David before their little match-up that he was going to kick his ass?  It would sound ridiculous.  Goliath knows he's going to win the match-up in his mind, not matter what the outcome actually is in reality.

Take for example, if a Pac-10 school was playing Appalachian State in Week 1.  That school would be getting ready for conference play already, might I remind you the toughest conference in America.

Why do you need to even consider losing to Appalachian State, a small D1-AA school in Boone, N.C., when you are in the state capital of Louisiana just coming off a D1-A national championship?

LSU fans, I laugh at you because you expose your own self-doubt every day.  No Pac-10 in the country would be worried about Appalachian State if they were rolling into town in Week 1.  Especially if that Pac-10 team was USC. 

Because USC is already preparing for Pac-10 play, much less the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Sometimes I wonder why SEC fans are so insecure about themselves, always needing to push the other conferences down.

For example, if I write a nice little article about Pac-10 superiority, SEC fans jump all over me.  It's like calling someone a name in first grade. 

It's like this: if I called a skinny kid fat, he wouldn't care.  If I called a fat kid fat, he would care.  If I call out the SEC for sucking and they were good, they wouldn't care.  If I call out the SEC for sucking and they do suck, they would care.

My point exactly.

Time for SEC fans to fess up: you guys don't think your conference is as great as you say it is.  You guys are just a collection of 12 teams who stand beside each other and claim you're the best with no specific rhyme or reason.

It's like one day you decided you wanted to be a legitimate football conference so you decided, "Oh, well tailgate really hard, and cheat a bunch, and bribe pollsters, and make believe were the best."

Luckily for you, your little fantasy worked out pretty well.

However, my life mission of dismissing this fact is not over. In fact, it has just begun.
