Game 1: What I saw from the Stands...

What I saw at the Game against Western Michigan… 

The best time of year to be on Campus, Tailgating, and heading to Spartan Stadium…  Been waiting for this for 9 months… Finally its here…

Lets talk about the take aways form the Football game first..

Frankly, the only issues I had with the Spartans play was the Kicking game…  Was not too impressed, or is it that we have been spoiled with Todd Boleski and Brett Swenson ..???  The Game was a Run fest, the Offensive line were all pulling in unison, they looked good…  Good to see som eof the talented freshmen get in the game, would have like to see more of Maxwell in the 4^th, but he did take a couple snaps…  

Important Note:  Le’Veron Bell is one heck of a Freshman… Both Bell and Baker ran for over 100 yrds each… First time I’ve seen dual 100yrd games in a long while…

Running is King today….  Passing needs some work…. Have to take care of the ball better.. the muffed punt and the two fumbles had me concerned….. and 11 penalties, that’s a No-No and must improve….

But all in all, a well played and executed game…

Next week Florida Atlantic and the following Week is our Spartan Saga Tailgate with the Game against Notre Dame…
