Before Carroll and Schneider Cut Down To 53!

2010 Seattle Seahawks Preseason....(Before Cuts)

Turmoil started off season with Coach Mora getting fired after 5 and 11 record.  Most Seattle fans believed in hometown guy to get job done.  Lots of injuries on offensive doomed coach Mora after waiting in the wings of a legend and couldn't last one year at regime.  Drastic change was needed.  Lewieke and the business side of Seattle was spinning their tires.  Obviously stuck in snow and needed change;  Take over Coach Carroll.  Positive attitude, change and upbeat attitude is what makes this man thrive.   Search for new GM takes place after Ruskell was fired before Mora could spell the end.  Wow, all of a sudden Seattle has two men smiling and giving high fives on draft day.  Whew, Seattle has had change.  Two huge draft picks in Okung and Thomas is what Seattle needed to help solidify two off season needs.  Two off season needs wouldn't get the job done though, who knew Jon Schneider would be busy as he was.  A whole off-season of turnover and unexpected trades have led Seattle fan's to watching  a back up defensive end/ hybrid OLB rush the passer and get more sacks in a couple preseason games than a 2008 draft pick?  Oh, that's right Lawrence Jackson was traded and we brought in the guy who was picked right after him to play the new left defensive end position which is now occupied by a third string defensive tackle in Red Bryant.  Heck, Clare Farnsworth has like 5 stories on the man who can't be moved on that position in pre-season.  All and all so many stories and so much change to the Seahawks in trades and schemes that many beloved Seahawks such as Josh Wilson the Seattles fan base top choice in 2008 draft and number one off season free agency hopeful TJ Houshmandzadeh about to be "Kumbayah" Oh wait that is Lawyer Milloy our new starting safety singing at practice when teammates get into a little brawl.  As a Seattle fan I cannot wait to see Coach Carrol succeed.  This is a whole story in itself.  But when you see Mike Williams overtake TJ Housh any fan is bound to be optimistic.  More is in store as Seattle fans wait for the roster to be cut from 75 to 53.
