
Future Sports: The Top Eight Players of 2015
If you look around in the four major sports today, there are so many young athletes: Kevin Durant, Mark Sanchez, Alex Ovechkin, Stephen Strasburg, just to name a few.
Five years ago, the greatest players of today were still up-and-coming: Albert Pujols, Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Martin Brodeur to name a few.
Here is a list of the next group of great athletes and future Hall of Famers, the top eight players in 2015.
Kevin Durant

Team: Oklahoma City Thunder
Age: 21
Why he will be great: He is so talented and is already the third-best player in the NBA. He was first in scoring last year and almost beat the Lakers in the playoffs.
Mark Sanchez

Team: New York Jets
Age: 22
Why he will be great: He is the Jets franchise quarterback. Having playoff experience last year will definitely help him.
Joe Mauer

Team: Minnesota Twins
Age: 26
Why he will be great: He is the best catcher in baseball right now and he will only grow better.
Stephen Strasburg

Team: Washington Nationals
Age: 22
Why he will be great: He might one day be considered one of the greatest pitchers of all time. He is having Tommy John surgery, so that will not help. He can throw 100 mph.
Steven Stamkos

Team: Tampa Bay Lightning
Age: 20
Why he will be great: He scored 51 goals last season at age 20. He will be a great player for years to come.
John Wall

Team: Washington Wizards
Age: 19
Why he will be great: He has not played any NBA games yet, but as the No. 1 pick in the 2010 draft, he will be the best point guard in five years.
Sam Bradford

Team: St. Louis Rams
Age: 22
Why he will be great: He was the No. 1 overall pick for a reason and he was the best QB coming out of the draft.
Aroldis Chapman

Age: 22
Why he will be great: He can throw 105 mph. That says it all
