What it means to me…..

New Football Conference Alignment and New football schedules for 2011 1nd 2012

What does this new alignment mean to me.. a Spartan Fan…

 Not much. Regardless of the set up, I would attend the games regardless, and would root for them each and every year.  I could wax about what if this or what if that, but when it comes down to it: the kids have to prove it on the field.

But, for what its worth… For 2011 looks like we will fight Nebraska and Iowa for the “O” division championship, and OSU, JoePa and Wisky will duke  it out in the  “X” division. 

Also, the middle of the 2011 season might be tough sledding: Buckeyes, Wolverines (they’ll suck), Wisconsin and at Nebraska, and shortly there after head to Iowa City… That’s not an easy schedule…

Then comes 2012 AND in to Spartan Stadium comes  the Irish, The Buckeyes, The Hawkeyes, and Nebraska.. will be fun to watch… this will be a year for season tickets at a premium..

But, still the bottom line is:…  It is what it is.. I’m going to the games regardless. And I expect the Spartans to win each contest. Simple.  I’m a Spartan, I bleed green…

Also, I know that the Big Tenelve will probably add a couple more teams in the coming couple years..  Its going to change again.

So, let others wax poetically for 3000 words about how its not far to this team or that.. just know that the Spartans will play each game no matter the opponent, no matter home or away.. So, bring it !...

Side note:  You ever think that this guy looks like an Evil Uber Overlord trying to overthrow the Empire of Light.… He looks menacing, wicked,  he looks down right mean..  I’m just sayin … just by this photo, don’t want him over for dinner....
