Random Wrestling Thoughts
So, it's Tuesday, I'm bored and morbid as a lot of it was, there were quite a few wrestling headlines this week. I figured I'd take a look at some top news topics and give a knee jerk reaction to some of it.
There are a couple of people on the market recently out of their 90 non-compete: Right in time with this news, there's rumors of a "major signing" from TNA. Mickie James and Carlito are now free to join any organization. To me, Carlito signing would be a good thing for TNA but would lend virtually nothing to the ratings. I would actually predict Mickie James to make more of the proverbial "Impact!"...that is, if she signs.
There have been many deaths in the wrestling world this last couple of weeks. I believe 8 according to Lance Storm. Quite a few of them were older, but notable deaths were Lance Cade and Luna Vachon. It's very sad to see young wrestlers lose their lives so early. Hopefully WWE and TNA will continue to try to put a curb to the amount of addiction in the wrestling lifestyle...
NXT still sucks. I do hope Kaval wins, though.
Serena was released...As if it mattered?
WWE supposedly plans to unify all of their titles. God I hope this is true. The prospect of having title matches build to a finish that means something, and importance returning to said titles is absolutely exciting to me. I hope this happens, and I hope it brings more focus back to the championship picture.
Cena says UFC is "over the top." I am a kettle, yet you are a pot. Don't call me black.
Katie Vick has trended on twitter on and off...Dear God, please stop this. I don't want to relive that anymore. I do have to admit that was one of the best promos I've seen in a long time. CM Punk is a bright shining star in a world of garbage.
Not my best work, but I'm on the move. Hope all is well.
