The Other Side: Things To look Forward To

Well I'm back, much to the dismay of my opponents I'm sure!  But as most of my columns usually are, I always try and stay on the positive side, and even with last night's more then lack luster 900th episode of Raw, there are plenty of things to be looking forward to in the world of Wrestling leading up to next year's WrestleMania!

And why did I post a picture of one Desmond Wolfe in an Iron Man mask?  Why the hell not!?!

LOOK....LOOK AT THIS CARD!

Wrestling fan, TNA Fan, or WWE fan it does not matter!  This is a great card. You have a marque main event in Angle vs. Hardy, the match to establish either Anderson or Pope.  The tag team match that will rip up the division, an X-Division dream match, Rhino and Abyss to destroy the arena and AJ vs. Dreamer in a match that will surprise everyone.

If you want to see great wrestling this is a great card from top to bottom! 

Raw G.M. is........

........SKYNET!!!!!

At least that's my pick and I'm sticking to it.  Ever wonder why Terminator 4 was made?   So the machines can convince us that it was just a waste of our time to worry about them and having Bale's crappy acting was a great way to turn us off from the thought.  Skynet's first form of a take over? WWE Raw!!!

In all seriousness folks, the mystery G.M. could literally be anybody EXCEPT Vince McMahon.  Chairman of the company...why would he "take a step down" and assume the roles of a g.m.?  Makes no sense.  Steph?  Maybe, a returning Shane?  Again possible.   Austin?  Makes sense.  Rock?  As close to never going to happen as it gets.

The lone idea to take away from it is this, whoever it is, weather it be Michael Cole, Rick Steamboat or the T-1000, it's going to be an exciting time as the G.M. has already shown signs of just being a manipulative prick!  Gotta love that.

Come Bound For Glory we will see an epic pay per view offering!

Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson

Kurt Angle vs. The Pope

.....well lets be honest, it's a tournament but these are the two biggest potential feuds heading into BFG!  I will say one thing, both these matches will happen at the biggest show in Orlando....just which one will be for the title and which one will be for revenge?  Also who turns heel that night, or will have heading into it.  Pope,Angle, Anderson or Hardy?

The main event of BFG is a guarantee to impress the fans and critics a like!

The Quest

People are rumbling.... they want The Viper to win the WWE Championship SOON!

Now being as I'm not a fan of Orton, I'm baffled by why, but the strong fan support is something that is real.

Orton has been chasing the belt ever since The Night after WrestleMania 26, so is it any surprise that right now he's the hottest thing going in WWE on Raw?

Say what you will about his backstage politics, he's going to be brought up again in another slides shortly!

"THEY"

We know THEY aren't Fourtune.

We know THEY aren't EV2.0

We know THEY are real...and THEY are coming on 10-10-10

If you tell me right now you don't care AT ALL about who "THEY" are, then your lying.  Even if you don't buy the ppv to see the culmination of this feud, you damn sure will be running to your comp to see who "THEY" are asap!

Truth be told this has been one of the best kept secrets in TNA's history and hear we are, about 4 and a half weeks til BFG and people aren't even sure yet!

Austin Returns?

On the most exciting part of the 900th edition of Raw, C.M. Punk called out Stone Cold Steve Austin, blasting him for his decadence and his ways of sultry behavior.

The glass broke and Punk stood in fear.  CLASSIC Build to.

Build to what though?  Are you saying Stone Cold is coming back?  Yes.

Are you saying he's going to wrestle?  Not necessarily.  With The Big Show an unlikely but possible candidate to join Punk in the SES, the WWE "front office" people would few that as a major faux pas and try and rectify the situation.

Best way to rectify it?  By bringing the one man who's not afraid of anyone that's who.  Maybe a tag team match at WrestleMania?  Stone Cold and Partner of his choosing vs. Punk and Show?  Hmmm....possibilities.

London Brawling

Couldn't find a picture of Magnus and Wolfe together, so Chelsea their valet will have to do!

Good looking gal so no worries there 'mates.

Besides the fact that web-boys will have a chance to root for Wolfe, this tag team is instant chemistry.  The promo's they've done together are fantastic and I've always seen Magnus with great potential and now finally the 23 year old will have the opportunity too!

Title Unification

And finally the possible Title Unification (that I will over in detail in my next column).

The fact that this rumor is picking up steam is a good send, as it couldn't of come any sooner. 

Main event talent is scarce and wrestlers are being thrust to soon in to the world title picture faster then ever.

Remember when Brock Lesnar doing it in his rookie year was unheard of?  Now Swagger and Sheamus both already won it a world title at least once and now Del Rio and Barrett are expected to join them in a years time.

That is NOT GOOD for longevity of pro wrestling.

And seeing it done at WrestleMania 27, between probably Randy Orton (Smackdown) and John Cena (Raw) might be one of the greatest moments in WWE history.

FINALLY Lords Of Evolution

LOE Live is back tonight (August 31st) as Chad and Ed hope to continue the streak of record ratings now at 4 weeks!

After the enormous success of LOE's Inter-Vasion on Monday Night (all new ratings high, THANK YOU FANS) it's only fitting that we go into tonight's show with the same hope!
