Fantasy Football 2010: Six Boom or Bust Late-Round Picks
Fantasy football is almost here, and all over, owners are gathering their information and forming their teams for the coming season.
While the general consensus is usually the same for the top picks, many opinions differ on the players who will produce despite going in the later rounds.
Solid late-round picks are just as important as the first couple rounds.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are a few boom or bust late-round picks for 2010.
Quarterbacks
1. Chad Henne
While some may not see him as that much of a risk and draft him in the mid to early rounds, there still remain plenty of doubters out there when it comes to Chad Henne.
Henne will be entering his second year as the Dolphins' primary play caller and is on track for a breakout season with a solid receiver corps that includes star Brandon Marshall as well as contributors Brian Hartline and Davone Bess.
If all goes according to plan in Miami, Henne will have a huge year.
2. Vince Young
Last season, Vince Young proved he could compete in the NFL as he led the Titans to an impressive finish.
However, questions still surround Young, as many wonder if he can continue to produce and stay consistent. Consistency is something he has lacked during his time in the league, both on and off the field.
If Young does stay healthy and keeps his head on straight, he should be a solid quarterback and fantasy contributor this season.
Running Backs
1. Jahvid Best
Jahvid Best, the rookie out of California for the Detroit Lions, is looking at a starting role in his first season in the league with the Lions' loss of Kevin Smith to injury.
Don't hold your breath, Lions fans, but the offense in Detroit actually looks somewhat promising for the first time in a while. If Best stays healthy, he should be a major contributor with his speed and shiftiness.
However, Best does have injuries in his past, so staying healthy could be a problem.
2. C.J. Spiller
Another rookie, C.J. Spiller, comes into the league with loads of talent and toughness.
Unfortunately for him, he's lining up for a sloppy Buffalo Bills offense that hasn't produced a successful running back in quite some time. However, if there's a running back who can turn that reputation around, Spiller is certainly that guy.
Known for his physical play and speed in college, Spiller does carry lofty expectations heading into his pro career.
But it could take a year or two before his production meets his expectations.
Wide Receivers
1. Nate Washington
Though the Titans are known to be more of a running offense, Nate Washington will be a contributor and playmaker this year for Tennessee.
Washington has been making plenty of noise in training camp this year, and he has backed it up with solid performances in the preseason thus far.
Look for Vince Young and Kerry Collins to be connecting with Washington often this season.
2. Brian Hartline
Brian Hartline, the second-year wide receiver out of Ohio State, will impress fantasy owners as the Miami Dolphins' No. 2 receiver this year.
Last year, Hartline averaged the most yards after catch on the team.
This year it's only going to get easier for the young receiver, as he will be lining up on the opposite side of the field as Brandon Marshall, thus benefiting from Marshall's double teams.
Hartline could even find himself approaching his first career 1,000-yard season.
