Dear WWE: Please Bring Back Paul Bearer for the Undertaker-Kane Feud

John BetschelAug 28, 2010

At Summerslam, what all of us already knew was shown. Kane was the one who took out his own "brother," The Undertaker.

After The Undertaker rose from the coffin and confronted Rey Mysterio, he turned and confronted Kane before grabbing Kane’s throat, resulting in The Undertaker getting Tombstoned.

The next week on Smackdown, Kane explained why he Tombstoned The Undertaker and also why he attacked him in the first place.

All this just adding more fuel to the fire, so to speak, adding more interest to the feud that has been going on since Kane first came to the WWE back in 1997.

Now, there is one element that I believe would really just take this feud to another level, and that element would be the one, the only, Paul Bearer.

For those who don't know, Paul Bearer is the one who managed The Undertaker from the very beginning and throughout most of his career.

Also Paul Bearer is the one who first brought Kane to the WWE. Throughout all the feuds that The Undertaker and Kane went through, Paul Bearer was there.

With all the history that the three have been through, plus with the length of absence from Paul Bearer, if the WWE would bring him back—at The Undertaker's side, no less—the WWE Universe would go nuts.

Paul Bearer is also Kane’s "kayfabe" father. For those who don't remember it was "kayfabe" who revealed that Paul Bearer used to be an employee at the funeral home in Death Valley in which Undertaker's parents worked.

And that, at one time, Paul Bearer had "relations" with Undertaker's mother, thus having Kane.

Back when Undertaker and Kane were kids, Paul Bearer said that the Undertaker accidentally burned down the funeral home, killing their parents and horribly scaring Kane both physically, and mentally.

Which is why Kane wore the mask for all those years.

When Kane first arrived in the WWE back at Bad Blood 1997, in the Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels match, who was at Kane’s side? None other than Paul Bearer.

If Paul Bearer were to show up at The Undertaker's side with the infamous urn, it would mark the only other time, besides Wrestlemania XX, and Judgment Day: In Your House, that Bearer had sided with The Undertaker during his and Kane's feud.

So please, WWE, bring back Paul Bearer. It would put a spark in this, so far not so interesting, feud.

Let me know what you think, do you think the WWE should bring back Paul Bearer for the Kane-Undertaker feud?

Or do you think the WWE can make the feud interesting enough without him?
