Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid: No More
Hello there Big Red, how the heck are you? It seems as if life is treating you rather well as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles for over a decade.
Well as a life-long fan of Philadelphia's national bird, I can think of one more bird you could see a lot more of this season if you continue to to use the words "I need to get better at that" or more specifically, your play calling.
I'm not quite sure how or why we as fans continue to listen to those words; it sounds entirely manufactured and is obvious you are just saying what you think you can get away with—well not anymore, I say.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Eagles' most prolific QB was traded this offseason, and McNabb endured the majority of the blame on your behalf and, because the two of you had such a phenomenal relationship, he was willing to take the brunt for you.
Now your scapegoat is gone, and we have a guy whom I truly do have a ton of confidence in—Houston product QB Kevin Kolb.
It is said that Kolb is a more accurate pocket passer who leads his receivers into open space, and with that our Eagles should have no problems scoring six. Yet so far this preseason, the new-look Eagles first string made numerous red zone trips and walked away with three points.
So far in your career you have won a single Super Bowl ring that you wear on your finger as a constant reminder to the players that YOU have one. I'm going to bring you back to reality Mr. Reid and remind you that you were the assistant coach for the Green Bay Packers at the time—so in reality, YOU haven't won a thing.
Time to take that ring off until YOU earn it!
There is no reason for this issue, not with as many talented players the Eagles have currently on the roster, on both the running and passing fronts.
You have three superb WRs, a full fleet of running backs, and a TE who will run people over with his own feet if he must. Still, the Birds' first team has not a single touchdown this preseason, which is a direct reflection of the plays being called—the talent is there, however!
OK, I'll give you that TD pass Kolb threw to Celek in the first preseason game vs the Jacksonville Jaguars, but what about all the other trips that were made, how did they end?
Allow me to tell you in case you were busy, a very familiar site over the past few years—kicker David Akers running onto the field.
How doesn't this frustrate you beyond belief? If it does, it is close to impossible to tell as you rarely react to a thing, flat faced in appearance sometimes. It would drive me absolutely bonkers if I had such a talented group of players that couldn't get it done.
This is your year Reid, I am calling you out right here, right now!
Are you going to stop looking for excuses and start looking for ways to get the job done, or are you going to have every single Philadelphia Eagle fan hoping Bill Cowher interviews for the head coaching position for the 2011 season?
The choice is yours Coach Reid, but please trust this. We fans will drive you out of this city if you continue to treat us with a lack of disrespect—disrespect Dan?
Absolutely, the fact that you sit down in front of the microphone after every loss and utter those dreadful words "I have to get better at that," I'll gladly tell you we are sick of hearing it.
It is time to put up or shut up Coach Reid!

C'mon down y'all to Bleeding Eagle Green for the Eagle fans who need even more!
Respects: This column was generated from Bob Cunningham's fantastic piece written today about the Eagles play calling, and rather than posting this as a comment, I figured I'd make it an article. Bob, I'm not trying to steal your work buddy, but I had to channel the red zone rage I was feeling!
