Dallas Stars Ink Defenseman Nicklas Grossman to Two-Year Deal
John Tabone
Aug 26, 2010According to the Dallas Stars' official Twitter page, the Stars have re-signed 25 year-old defenseman Nicklas Grossman to a two-year contract worth $3.25M.
Grossman is a solid stay-at-home defenseman who does his job. Don't expect him to score much, as he likes to stick to the defensive side of the game.
The shutdown defenseman played on the Stars' top defensive pairing with Stephane Robidas for most of the year. At only 25 and already great on the defensive side of the ice, expect Grossman to play a key role in the Stars' top defensive pairing.
