The Tennessee Titans Offense Is More Explosive Than You Think
We learned a lot in the Titans second preseason game against the Cardinals on Monday night, most notably being that this team can be highly effective through the air.
The combination of Vince Young, Kerry Collins, Chris Simms, and Rusty Smith put up 224 passing yards against the Cardinals.
In addition to that we learned that this offense has now become very balanced with a steady dose of good running backs and talented wide receivers.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Titans have pretty much always had a strong rushing attack, but it finally looks like the passing game will join the party of putting points on the board.
Lavelle Hawkins pretty much bought himself a spot on the team by hurdling a Cardinals defender and coming up just a few feet away from the pylon.
We also finally got a chance to see rookie Damian Williams in action. He made four catches for 40 yards, which is a solid stat line for a preseason game.
Justin Gage hasn't been playing this preseason so the passing game will be instantly upgraded when he returns.
It's not a new idea to think of the Titans' running game as being explosive thanks to Chris Johnson, but the Titans have two other running backs that could end up contributing to that explosiveness this season.
The newly acquired Samkon Gado looked great against the Cardinals as he scored two impressive touchdowns. His five years of NFL experience may not seem like a lot, but compared to the rest of the offense it's a lot.
Of course you can't forget about LeGarrette Blount, who got his first big rush of the preseason that went for 18 yards. He ran over a few Cardinals during the process.
Blount is almost a sure touchdown inside of three yards. Obviously he just has to keep his attitude in check and save it for when he's running over defenders.
If Vince Young limits his mistakes then this offense will be in the top half of the NFL.
The Titans have done a great job over the years at gradually building this offense back up since losing Derrick Mason and the late Steve McNair.
It finally looks like the Titans' offense, primarily the passing game, will help this team rather than hold it back.
Expect Fisher to open up the offensive playbook even more in the last two games of the preseason to really see what this offense is capable of.
It's going to be a fun offense to watch this season, even if it's not always effective.
