Is Pete Carrol Transforming Our Team Into the California Seahawks?

I don't know what it is lately with Carrol Taking on , or looking into players from the California Universities,or NFL team's like the forty niners,Chargers, waiting to see if the Raiders are involved, but it is getting a little ridicules as of late.

The players as of the new "Carrol era," seem to be mostly targeted towards California, and all of its scraps/teams SF,SD,(Oak?-,who knows maybe in the near future.) Just like the leo defense/"Carrol the lion," seems to go after the scraps and is hopeful to transform them into prime meat for his hopeful team the Seahawks.

We all heard rumors that Carrol was going to go after USC players, however it seems as of late that all of California is his prey.

Here is some players that are with, or trying out with the Seahawks since the Carrol era, that are in camp, that are scraps from California.

49RS-Scott McLoughan GM of the niners, now with the Seahawks front office. Kentwan Balmer who played two different positions in his career T/DE first round pick who never made a good impression as a forty niner. Then all  of the sudden Brandon Jones is our newest Seahawk. Is Carrol trying to get some information out of front office/ recruiting players from the 49RS to win the division, or is it all a coincidence?

There is also interest in Jackson who is a Charger at this point and time. And we have Whitehurst, who has not played one regular season game since his arrival in the NFL and with the Minnesota game I can see why, hopefully he can rebound and mature from that catastrophic performance at the end of the fourth quarter.

On top of NFL teams from California Carrol has many players that he has coached in the past, or are from other California Universities, (keep in mind not all of the players are scraps).

USC-6 players, California-4, San Diego State-2.

Since Carrol has been in charge, Seattle now has 17 players (to my knowledge) that are from a California University or have some history with California. What will happen in the future tells me that more of California will be coming or way. I just hope that it brings wins and good fortune to our team the Cali... uh, I mean the Seattle Seahawks.
