But after Real Madrid paid Chelsea 6.7 million Euros last week for fellow defender Ricardo Carvalho, creating a bit of a glut in the Madrid defense, could Sergio Ramos be headed back in the other direction from Madrid to London?
It's unknown whether or not Madrid boss Jose Mourinho would be willing to part with Ramos, but sources suggest that if he were to OK a deal, Ramos could make up to 8 million Euros a season over a five-year contract with the Blues.
