Ohio State Football in Pictures

Judging by our lack of posts, you may have thought that we were the ones reporting to camp.  Alas, our collective scholarship letter must have been lost in the mail.

If our admission is not enough to convince (and, there is no reason to believe it should not), our absence in these photos should be enough. The Dispatch and Plain Dealer each burned a (electronic) roll of film at the imitation event, and we have a few observations.

Curtis Terry appears to attended Vernon Gholston’s offseason diet camp.  At this point, moving him to fullback makes no sense.  We have an open spot at LB, and I think Terry is the best possible candidate to fill this spot.

Pryor is ready for his close-up.  He appears to have a suit with him for the occasion when it certainly arrives.  Personally, we do not see enough of this mixture of confidence and preparedness on the freshman level.  Either that, or Tressel requires them to wear a suit in their team photo.  Yeah, it is probably the latter.

This may be the best picture in the batch.  A smiling pain-free Wells can only mean even better results from the super junior.  Here’s hoping he is flashing a bigger smile in the late night on January 8, 2009 in Miami.
