Latest News on Serena's Release: What's Next for SES?
Hello Buzzers, Buzz is back with some major news.
By now, most of you are aware that the Straight Edge Society member Serena has been released by WWE.
All reports confirmed that the decision to release Serena was made several days ago, but the news only got out on Monday.

For all of you who are still waiting for the official announcement to be made by WWE, don't expect them to say anything before the end of Smackdown Friday night episode, as she's due to make an appearance on this week's edition which was taped last Wednesday.
I'm sure the release will be officially revealed by WWE once the show is over.
According to PWtorch, WWE sources are saying that the reason for Serena's release was because she was not "living out" the Straight Edge Society gimmick in public!!!
Of course, more specific details surrounding her release has yet to be disclosed.
My thoughts
Looking at the reasons mentioned by WWE sources for her release, I can fairly say that this is a bit unfair. I mean the lady agreed to have her head shaved bald and adopt this weird gimmick. What more can she do in public?
Does this confirm that WWE really tries to own the wrestler and control his life even outside the wrestling building?
This is not the first time we see WWE controlling the lives of wrestlers outside the organization.
It was said before that Undertaker wasn't allowed to attend a UFC show because his character was supposed to be in a "vegetative" state at that time.
Though Serena wasn't being utilized well by WWE up until her release, but I think that this release is a big loss for the divas division.
All those who knew Serena before joining WWE will agree with me for sure. She has great ring skills compared to most current WWE divas.![]()
She was well known for her appearances in OVW, where she has the record of six times women's champion. She also wrestled in Shimmer and ROH. Recently, she was still wrestling at FCW.
Serena made her long-awaited televised in-ring debut on Aug. 20 at Smackdown, where she pinned Kelly Kelly in a mixed tag-team match.
Casual WWE fans may not miss her a lot, because she was used as a valet more than a wrestler, and it appeared that WWE were referring to her as a rookie wrestler who's still training.
In other words, she might not be considered a huge loss by casual fans and kids.
What's next for SES?
Let's face it, but even before Serena's release; nearly all people here were expecting this stable to split very soon. I may be one of the few people who were still hoping to see this stable shine and dominate WWE.![]()
Ever since SES was formed, I've been anticipating a great future for this team. I thought it could bring back the days of Evolution when they dominated RAW in 2003 and 2004. And what's better than having CM Punk, one of the best superstars on WWE, as its leader?
However, the team went on a ridiculous losing streak. CM Punk ended up losing his hair. The other members were looking very weak, and were acting as Punk's servants. The only thing that was saving the SES was Punk's great promos.
Their biggest loss was against the Big Show in a three-on-one handicap match. Since then, I lost any hope with this stable.
If Punk wasn't able to beat a man with two partners beside him, how can we expect him to dominate an entire show?
My predictions for this group are that they'll both split and end SES, or they might make some changes with Punk firing Gallows and hiring a new member.
The second choice could be really refreshing. I really hope they fire Gallows and bring Darren Young after shaving his head. They could add another diva too.
This will be a new beginning for SES as they'll go on with new blood. Luke Gallows was looking good at the beginning, but right now he's a useless giant.
As for Serena, I'm sure Punk will fire her in a booked angle by WWE.
Finally, I'll have to admit that if this stable ends now, it will sure go down as one of the worst stables in WWE history; Even worse than Legacy.
So, what do you think is next for SES? Will they go on? Will we witness a change in the stable? Will we see new additions? Or will this be the end of the Straight Edge Society? Will this finally bring back CM Punk to the world title scene?
All thoughts and comments are welcome.
