2010 NFL Preseason Week Two: Fantasy Football Player Rankings
Week Two of the 2010 NFL preseason is almost done and fantasy values continue to change for different players. One running back that continues to see his fantasy rankings move up is Texans starter Arian Foster.
Foster had another solid game against the Saints as he posted a 10-yard touchdown run in the first half. Look for Foster as a strong flex play option for your squad as he is going in mock drafts somewhere around the sixth or seventh round at this time.
While NFL starters played more in the second week of the preseason it will be Week Three that is most important for fantasy analysis as most teams will play all of their starters for close to a full half of football and maybe even more than that.

More Week Two Preseason Notes:
Bears Offensive Line / Matt Forte
If Jay Cutler and the Bears passing game hope to have success this season they need their offensive line to play much better than they did against the Raiders. Cutler was sacked six times in the first half (four by Kamerion Wimbley) and he had to use his feet to scramble out of the pocket to make his completions.
While the offensive line struggled against the Raiders pass rush they did have success opening holes for starter Matt Forte. Forte was a horrible disappointment last year but in this game he had over 100 yards on the ground which was highlighted by an 89-yard touchdown run. This was the explosion that we saw in his rookie season and that is what Forte needs to have a strong rebound season. ![]()
Look for Forte as a very strong flex play option and a solid No. 2 running back in PPR fantasy football leagues.
Aaron Rodgers Looks Improved
The Packers star quarterback had a great season in 2009 but he might improve on those numbers this year. Last season Rodgers and top receiver Greg Jennings struggled hooking up on the deep ball but so far they have been on point to start the preseason. Beyond that improvement, Rodgers should also enjoy the improvement Jermichal Finley has shown this offseason as well.
Finley is a top five fantasy tight end and I wouldn’t be surprised if he is a top three tight end in 2011 fantasy football drafts.
