The Barclays: $10,000,000 Dollar Cut Starts Here, Fantasy Picks and More

I do not expect this confident looking gentleman, and I use that term loosely, to win the grand prize in the Fed Ex Cup Playoffs.

I do, however expect a top-10 finish in the Barclays from Tiger as he tunes up for the Ryder Cup matches next month, and tries to win the golfing public's favor back.

Is this the grand plan of Tiger's?

Look defeated and tired, with the adoring fans turning on him at every opportunity, only to rise from the ashes like an avenging Phoenix to turn his opponents into dust once more.

Or will he just continue to leave doggy droppings all over the nice golf courses?

Alas. I have him eligible for two more events, so this might as well be one. A top-10 would be all I can hope for as I look to my B players, or the A backup perhaps, for a winner.

So Tiger will be my A player next week, with a hot playing Bubba Watson as his able backup.

In the B slots, I will use Dustin Johnson and Rory Mcllroy, with the bench players in wait being Nick Watney and Jeff Overton.

The C player spot has been a points bonanza for me this season and this week I will choose Boo Weekly, who has been hot lately,

His backup will be Ricky Fowler who is due to break through, much like Rory McllRoy earlier in the year.

The defending champion of this event is Heath Slocum, who is currenly 47th on the Fed Ex Points List.

This would be a good week for Slocum to kick it into gear, and make the next cut, for time is running out for the lower rung of this play off ladder.

Any one of the top ten Fed Ex Cup points leaders are given favorites week to week now, and a win in one of these events by a player who has already won on Tour this season will go a long way.

You have my choices and I hope they do well.

Currently I am drowning in mediocrity in the 84th percentile,4668 points, and position No. 23,854.

I have lost ground two weeks in a row and was at the 87th percentile.

I am still ahead of all but one of the Yahoo Fantasy Golf Experts this season, but they are closing fast.

I need a good week as this golf fantasy season draws to a close, finishing with the Players Championship.
