The Miz Getting The Push That Jack Swagger Should!

This past Friday on Smackdown, Jack Swagger pretty much summed things up.

At the beginning of the summer, he was world heavyweight champion and now he's not even good enough to be in a match at Summerslam.

Yet you have The Miz who is still holding the United States Championship, and from an article I recently read, he is coming close at breaking Sgt. Slaughters record for longest reigns with the U.S. title, which would then put The Miz at number ten.

That, along with being Mr. Money In The Bank, pretty much guarantees he is going to be a world champion.

They took Jack Swagger from the main event to no event. The Miz is destroying everyone in his path while Jack Swagger is getting beat by a jobber like MVP.

I like The Miz, but Jack Swagger has much better in-ring skills, given that he isn't as good on the mic as The Miz, but he is still descent.

When Swagger first won the MITB briefcase, I was in shock, and then when he actually won the World Heavyweight Championship I felt he didn't deserve it.

As time went on though, Jack Swagger proved me wrong; he took his position as champion and he ran with it.

With his in-ring skills and victories over superstars like Randy Orton and The Big Show, Jack Swagger proved that he did indeed deserve to be champion.

And as the weeks have gone by since losing his belt, I have actually become a fan of Jack Swagger.

So how is it that a superstar like Jack Swagger who's in-ring skills greatly surpass The Miz, be used so poor as of late.

The Miz on the other hand, is part of everything; he is a coach for the second time on NXT, MITB winner, and U.S. Champion, the latter of which I've already mentioned.

The two also have very different backgrounds; Jack Swagger attended Oklahoma University and in 2006 set the record for most pins in a season with 30 as an All-American. Thus the nickname "The All-American American".

The Miz however was nothing more than a reality star whore so to speak. First gaining notoriety on The Real World, he went on to appear in the Real World/Road Rules Challenge, followed by Battle of the Network Reality Stars, Fear Factor, Identity, Ghost Hunters, and Dinner Impossible.

He was also part of Tough Enough four, which by some wrestlers is considered a reality show in itself.

Hopefully things will take a turn for the better and Swagger will defeat MVP next week on Smackdown and get to host The V.I.P. Lounge.

In closing, the WWE is giving all this attention and all these accolades to The Miz who's wrestling skills are sub par at best, when they could be giving it to an All-American American like Jack Swagger.

It has only been a short time though so hopefully things will change for Swagger in the near future, putting him back in the main event picture.
