No Room For The Big Guys In The WWE?
So we hear people saying that guys who are small built don’t stand a chance to go far in the WWE. The furthest that they can go is the mid card. How about the big guys? Let us take a look at the super heavyweights currently in the WWE and how they are being used.
The Big Show
The Big Show by far is the only big guys that have achieve the most in the past year. He won the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship, now known as the WWE Tag Team Championship, with The Miz and then Chris Jericho.

After Jeri-Show dropped the titles, he went on to SmackDown and became a face. Instantly he was placed to challenge Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Championship.
He won at Over The Limit via disqualification and then lost at Fatal 4-Way PPV in the fatal four way match.
The world’s largest athlete did have good runs but still did not capture the world title.
Currently, he seems to be in a rivalry with the SES most probably since they do not know what to do with him and the SES. Nonetheless, he is the best used giant in the WWE out of every giant that we are evaluating today.
Mark Henry
All that he is being used now is to help make the Nexus look strong. Getting attacked by The Nexus and losing to Wade Barrett. Mark Henry hasn’t really done much so far, had a run with MVP but thereafter would just appear in a match now and then, losing to help further the opponent storyline.
Previously when I watch WWE, this guy was unstoppable. The world’s strongest man. He literally destroyed his opponent. Now this happy smiling person is losing matches after matches on Raw.
The Great Khali
If I am not wrong, sometime back on Raw, Ranjin Singh said that Mr Khali will be taking some time off back to India to recover and return once again as the monster he his to be world champion again.
Away he goes and back he came. After just a short while.
A giant? No. An unstoppable giant? No. Ok, at least he is a contender for the world title, right? Sorry.
Seriously, Khali Kiss Cam? Punjabi Playboy?
Ok, the kissing thing is years back but still a worthy mention. It is just an insult to the punjabi giant character. Khali just became so soft overnight. How can anyone treat him seriously now?
This man was at the top of the world as World Heavyweight Champion years back on SmackDown and now he is just a joke of a character. What in the world has happened to this guy is truly magical.
There you go. World Wrestling Entertainment proudly present the three unstoppable giant.
Maybe out of the three, The Big Show is the only credible person.
One thing I don’t understand is why these guys are faces? Shouldn’t a giant be more suited to being a heel? Dominating opponent and destroying everything in sight.
The Big Show is doing fine and would most probably be world champion in the future after the undertaker-kane feud. For Mark Henry and Great Khali, I don’t think they are ever going anywhere. Henry would most probably continue to lose matches and Khali will be your source of entertainment and lose matches too.
We have seen how slow Henry is nowadays. Khali is barely movable in the ring. But the least WWE should have is to portray these giant as giant. Not some guy who is so weak, dances around or going about kissing people.
I believe that if you have nothing good for them, must as well not use them.
It seem that not only the small guys don’t get a breakthrough but the big guys too. So let’s take a seat and watch the comedy unfolds.
