NFL Preseason Week Two: New England Takes Care of Business in ATL
ATLANTA, GA - The New England Patriots appear to be right on track after completing their second week of the pre-season with a 28-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. New England now improves to 2-0 on the "meaningless" pre-season, but confidence is improving.
The Patriots' first offense and defense looked very good tonight. When both of the teams' first teams were in, New England outscored Atlanta 14-3.
New England's All-Pro quarterback, Tom Brady, was very efficient tonight. He completed 10 out of his 12 passes while throwing a touchdown pass to rookie tight end Aaron Hernandez.

New England looked impressive tonight, for the second week in a row. The Patriots seem to be establishing the running game, which was a struggle earlier, while their young defense is flourishing and finding their " identity".
Side Notes: New England's Wes Welker made his first appeerance after suffering a season ending, knee injury earlier this January. Welker caught two passes for 20 yards, and showed good signs on his recovering knee.
New England's pair of rookie tight ends, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez looked impressive tonight. Both showed great signs of what they're capable of doing in their individual roles in this offense.
Gronkowski and Hernandez both scored twice.
