The Rainbows are never afraid to throw the ball all over the field at a breakneck pace, but it doesn’t always translate into points or wins. In spite of the fact that Hawaii averaged 437.3 yards of offense, 336.1 of which came through the air raid, it only put 22.8 points per game on the board. The defense allowed almost a full TD more than that. The WAC slate is going to be impossible to navigate, so challenging for the league crown is out of the question. Still, with QB Brett Moniz in charge, going 7-6 and making a bowl game is a possibility.
