2010 Utah State Aggies Predictions
After going 8-4 ATS last season, the Aggies have to wonder whether this is the year that they can really challenge in the WAC to the point that they can go to a bowl game. The offense ranked 12th in the nation last year at 439.3 yards per game. It was a balanced attack as well, ranking in the top quarter of the nation in both passing and rushing. Numbers like that should improve upon the 29.1 points per game from last year, particularly if QB Diondre Borel can limit his turnovers. A little bit of defense would help as well, as ranking 114th overall (455.1 YPG) and 107th in scoring (34.0 PPG) won’t cut it. The good news is that there are some winnable games here in spite of the fact that BYU and Oklahoma are both on the non-conference slate. Don’t be shocked if Utah State ends up picking off some teams like Idaho this year, particularly when playing in Logan.
