Arsenal were somewhat fortunate to bag a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield last week, but a point gained at Anfield must still be seen as a positive way to start the season.

Arsene Wenger and his men will undoubtedly be looking to launch their contention for this season's title, and a big win in the Arsenal vs Blackpool fixture would send out the perfect message to their rivals.

It's looking to be good news on the injury front for the Gunners, with both Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie looking hopeful to feature this weekend for Arsenal against Blackpool.

Premiership newcomers Blackpool surprised just about everyone last weekend, by thrashing Wigan 4-0 in their debut at the highest tier of English football.

The Seasiders will have been delighted with the result, but face an altogether different task ahead as they travel to North London to face big boys Arsenal.

Blackpool fans will be hoping that new signing Marlon Harewood will continue his good form in front of goal, after scoring two against Wigan, and will be positive that the Tangerines can at least put up a good fight at the Emirates on Saturday.

The Gunners look comfortable at home against almost all but the best competition, and will be looking for a big win in front of their faithful fans.

With both Fabregas and Van Persie looking to play for Arsenal, and with a huge choice of attacking players at their disposal, the Gunners should prove too strong for the impressive Blackpool side and post a relatively easy win.
