An Open Letter To Ted Ginn Jr
Dear Ted Ginn Jr,
I am writing this letter because you recently stated in an interview that you browse online to see what people say about "Ted Ginn Jr". You are now a member of the San Francisco 49ers. This is a historic franchise that you are apart of now. The past is the past. Your tenure in Miami was forgettable. Fans and players bashed you for your drops and lack of heart. This is a chance for you to shut up all of your critics. There were many bright spots in Miami that displayed the potential we all saw at Ohio State. Remember your first 100 yd receiving game against Buffalo what about you becoming the New York Jet killer the past two seasons. There was also many return TD's that went unnoticed too. The Dolphins never wanted you they wanted Brady Quinn. We all see how "great" he is as a QB look at his production in Cleveland. The golden boy persona was favored over the speedy wide receiver from Ohio State.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Cam Cameron was blasted for drafting you 9th overall, but he saw the Ted Ginn nobody knew about. I heard about all of the 5:00am workouts held at Glenville throughout high school. The countless hours of training to become a world class athlete will pay off. Ted the pressure is still on you to produce. You will have more naysayers that are waiting for you to fail. It is up to you to become a productive NFL receiver. Do not forget the basics when lining up at wide receiver. With Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree, and Vernon Davis you can slide under the radar instead of being the focal point of the offense. Remember this is a league were speed kills and you possess that attribute. Focus on route running and catching the ball. I know you have decent hands just focus on catching the ball before taking off. I rarely saw you drop a pass at Ohio State. In 3 years I think I remember you dropping a screen pass at Purdue your freshman year. This is a game where when you take the fun out of it, it becomes a burden on you. Trace back to the Glenville and Ohio State days where you played freely and look at the results from there.
This can become a great redemption story. You are still in the early stages of your career so there is a lot of opportunity to become a good NFL receiver. Coach Mike Singletary is a great motivator and will bring out the best in you. Look at Vernon Davis's production before Mike Singletary and look at him now. This is a coach that you do not want to piss off! The opportunity is there for you to thrive. The Dolphins traded you the 49ers for a bag of skittles. Make them pay for the move they made. The 49ers took a chance on you do not dissapoint them. It is three words that can make this transition easier than Miami "Catch the Ball". Offensive Coordinator Jimmy Raye and your fellow teammates are excited about your development in camp so far. Like the old saying another man's trash is another man's treasure.
Sincerely, Ronnie Hampston
