Tim Tebow Gets Hurt and Treated By Trainer, Leaves Practice Early Too

Michael KellerAug 18, 2010

Not to be another Tim Tebow article writer, but I thought this article just in from Mike Klis and The Denver Post would be of interest:

"At practice Wednesday afternoon, Broncos trainer Steve “Greek” Antonopulos came up to Tim Tebow and started consulting with the rookie quarterback.

After their talk, Tebow seemed to be holding his left ribs or left abdomen and jogged off to the locker room. He has yet to return. Tebow took several hits in the preseason game Sunday at Cincinnati. He was also involved in a violent collision at the goal line while diving for a touchdown on the game’s final play.

Tebow has has been wearing a flak-jacket padding device around his ribs this week. He didn’t participate in post-practice conditioning sprints Tuesday. This is significant as he has won every post-practice conditioning sprint among offensive players in training camp (Air Force’s Ben Garland) wins every defensive sprint)."

Not sure what the issue is but probably is not too serious as he left under his own power. But my guess is he is feeling a bit of the difference between college and "Big Boy" football.

Let's hope he is all right.

On a brighter note, both Eric Decker and Jarvis Moss were back at practice, with Moss having a cast on his broken hand. Decker has had an ankle sprain that seems now to be healed enough for him to get back into full practice mode.
