Contest: Create Your Own Wrestling PPV With Current Stars

Recently I had noticed that Matthew Hester had brought back the Creature vs. Creature contest to Bleacher Report. I thought this was good as we hadn't really seen one in a while. Then I had an idea for my own little contest.

One thing that is prevalent is that no one ever seems completely satisfied with WWE and TNA PPV's as a whole anymore. There are always matches that turn people off, or bad angles and storylines that end up leading nowhere.

I myself have griped plenty about the lack of originality in the recent PPV events. So I thought to myself "Why not see what kind of PPV people really want to see".

So I came up with the Create your own Supercard contest.

The contest is simple. Start by choosing which matches you want to include. These can be anything from one on one matches to battle royals to ladder matches. Hell, I would even take a sock on a pole match at this point.

The limit for matches is going to have to be ten so it doesn't get too out of hand.

It can be a mix of TNA and WWE stars, they can even face each other. Have John Cena vs. AJ Styles if you want. The only restriction is it has to be TNA or WWE stars, I have nothing against any other companies but most of the indy wrestlers don't have enough exposure for other readers to know who they are.

After you have selected what matches you will use, write a short paragraph describing why each match would be good for your PPV.

The last step is to come up with a name. WWE and TNA have made picking the names of their PPV's into a grab bag these days. No originality seems to be the theme. So come up with a snappy title for your PPV like "Battle of the Bullies," but better than that because that name sucks.

Once you are done, post the article and then post a link to it on my personal page. I will then create a central article with links to all the created PPV cards so people can read them, and then vote in a poll I will post.

Update: I just wanted to update this with a deadlne of a week from today, being August 26th. I also want to thank all the people who are participating, I never expected this to get as positive of a reaction as it has gotten so Thank You for being supportive and participating. I truly feel that Bleacher Report is the best online wrestling community out there. It is because of this site that I don't even have a WWE Universe page because I found that this site had a better group of people to communicate with
