NFL Predictions for 2010 Season: Green Bay Packers Game-by-Game
While we all are trying to figure out what the Vikings will do, with or without Brett Favre, it really does not matter in the long run in 2010.
As we look at the Green Bay Packers 2010 schedule and predict the outcome, one glaring fact or statistic stands out.
30 touchdowns to seven interceptions in Aaron Rodgers's second full year at quarterback.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This, for Packer fans, is tremendously uplifting news, and if he improves on that wonderful statistic, watch out NFC.
In the two games against the Vikings this season, without Favre, I predict a sweep.
One game will be in Chicago, and one game of course in Green Bay, against the Bears. It is possible that Cutler could get hot and win one of these, so let's be realistic and give away just one division game.
Against Detroit, the Pack will dominate on the road and at home.
Let's now review the division record: 5-1.
The other games against weaker teams will be relatively easy.
The first game of the season is against the Eagles with Kevin Kolb at the helm now.
If the Packers do lose a couple, it will be early, while still getting the kinks out. This one is hard to pick, but with the weapons Kolb has at home, the Packers get the Eagles later in the playoffs. Philadelphia gets this one.
Next is perhaps an easy game against Buffalo in Lambeau Field. Nothing is easy in the NFL, so easier than some teams, let's say. 6-2.
The next out of conference game is against the Washington Redskins. This game should be a showcase of talent for the emerging Packers. 7-2 now.
Jermichael Finley will be a matchup nightmare for defensive coaches. Linebackers can't stay with him, and he's too big for defensive backs.
Ryan Grant had 1,250 yards rushing last year after a slow start. All this is good for improvement.
Jennings is a monster tight end, and of course, there's Donald Driver.
Miami visits Green Bay after the Redskin game, and the Packers will dispatch the Dolphins quickly. By the second half, Bill Parcells will be scratching his head wondering where it all went so wrong. 8-2.
A big game against the Jets, as some people have them going far in the playoffs this season, so mention of a Super Bowl preview will happen, as the Jets stink up the stage in this one. 9-2 now.
Dallas comes visiting, and this just might be a loss. For sure, you have a playoff matchup in the works with these two teams.
Realistically speaking, now the Packers are at a 9-3 pace.
Week 10 is the Packers bye week, and as I am a bit ahead of the schedule calling the division games, at the break, they should be at a minimum of 6-3, but most likely 7-2.
There is a game in Atlanta that might be tough, depending on how healthy Atlanta might be later in the season. Let's say the Packers lose this one. 9-4.
The 49ers visit, and this team does not fare well in Lambeau. 10-4.
If the Pack can beat New England, which I think they can, that's 11-4.
The second to the last game of the season will be against the Giants, who should be totally pummeled by Philadelphia and Dallas by now, and not have any gas for the streamlined Packer team.
The way the season plays out is beat the heck out of the division, take a few lumps in games against high-quality teams, and dominate the weaker teams.
Worst case scenario, the Packers go 10-6 and leak into the playoffs.
More than likely, the regular season record is 11-5 to 13-3 .
I will settle on my prediction of the Packers going 12-4 in the regular season. They reach the NFC Championship Game, perhaps facing Dallas in a rematch from the regular season that the Cowboys won, for more intrigue.
This is assuming Dallas can beat two teams rather than one in the playoffs.
I see New Orleans being able to compete with any team this season, and would not be surprised with a Super Bowl rematch between Indy and New Orleans. Manning and Brees are currently the best two quarterbacks in the NFL, and both teams have the talent to get there again.
But good luck to the Packers in their quest to return to the Super Bowl.
