Fantasy Football 2010: Thomas Jones To Start over Jamaal Charles?
Some fantasy football websites have ranked Jamaal Charles as a Top 10 option at running back this year. For a player that has not started for a full season or received more than 230 touches, this seems a little premature.
Now more doubt is on the horizon; Thomas Jones has been running with the first team a nd is the projected starter against the Falcons this Friday.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While using Jones more often in the first half to keep Charles fresh makes sense for the Chiefs, it also means that Charles may not a huge splash early in the season. Charles does have great talent, however, and faces the easiest schedule on paper to run against in the NFL.
2010 Fantasy Projection For Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones
Knowing this, I can’t help but recommend Charles as a Top 15 running back on draft day. Like Beanie Wells in Arizona, Charles may have to wait until the second half of the season to take over, but at some point he should be the starter.
For those of you in PPR leagues, Charles could still be a late Top 10 as he should snag a bunch of receptions weekly.
Jones' value holds steady as a nice backup running back who could produce at the flex position to begin the season. Given the touchdown totals this veteran racked up in 2008 and 2009, he should win the goal line work this season.
Give Jones a role in standard formats and touchdown-heavy leagues, as he still has the talent and opportunity to produce at a consistent level.
