Leicestershire and Worcestershire won in the latest round of Division Two fixtures as Derbyshire remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

Sussex led the way on 169 points, winning six, drawing three, and losing two.

Glamorgan has 155 points, winning six, drawing two, and losing three.

Northamptonshire are third on 145 points, winning six, drawing one, and losing four.

Leicestershire move up to fourth on 143 points, winning five, drawing two, and losing five after their 10-wicket home win over Derbyshire.

Derbyshire batted first, making 182, largely thanks to Dan Refern's 85.

Nadeem Malik (4-32) and Matthew Hoggard (4-77) each taking four wickets. 

The home side took a lead into the second innings, scoring 276 as Matthew Boyce hit top scored with 60.

Derbyshire scored 262, Wayne Madsen hitting 66, setting Leicestershire a potentially difficult 169 for victory.

However, Boyce (86 not out) and Greg Smith (52 not out) saw them home without losing a wicket.

Gloucestershire slip to fifth after their third straight County Championship loss, the latest a six wicket defeat to Worcestershire.

The defeat leaves the county on 141 points, winning five, drawing one, and losing six.

Gloucestershire looked to have made a dream start, scoring 480 in their first innings.

William Poterfield smashed 175 and James Franklin was run out for 108, as Matt Mason took 4-92.

Worcestershire faltered to 278 in reply.

Daryl Mitchell's 104 keeps his side in the game with Gemaal Hussian taking 4-30.

Gloucestershire collapsed to 136 second time around, losing their last four wickets for no runs, thanks to Shakib-Al-Hasan taking 5-23.

Needing 339, Worcestershire made the target look easy as Mitchell scored another century (134 not out) as the away side won by six wickets.

The comeback victory moves them onto 133 points, winning four, drawing four, and losing three.

Middlesex are seventh on 116 points, winning three, drawing three, and losing six.
