Fantasy Football Expert League Draft First Round
Football Jabber is setting out to snag it’s third straight Regular Season Points Championship as well as add a league title in the Bum Phillips Fantasy Expert Challenge hosted by JunkyardJake.com. Scoring the most points means little if you can’t close the deal.
In our first season we came up 7.4 points short, losing the title game to FFToolbox.com. In 2009 we were able to score the points, but couldn’t get out of the first round in the playoffs. Now, the 2010 draft is here. We thought we would share the first round here with you along with any comments the owners may have had with their pick.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Scoring is standard except QBs get 6 pts per TD and there is one point per reception.
1. FantasyFootballNerd.com-Chris Johnson, RB, Tennessee
"Here’s hoping for a 2,000+ yard season.
"
2. WalterFootball.com- Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota
"Adrian Peterson is my No. 1 running back; he’ll be more involved in the passing game with Chester Taylor gone, and Chris Johnson is a major injury risk after all of those touches last year.
"
3. JunkyardJake.com- Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, Jacksonville
4. FantasySportsCentral.com- Ray Rice, RB, Baltimore
5. FFToolbox.com- Andre Johnson, WR, Houston
6. FFJungle.com-Frank Gore, RB, San Francisco
7. FantasyFootballWhiz.com- Michael Turner, RB, Atlanta
"Turner was the 6th ranked RB through week 10 in 2009 before the injury derailed the rest of the season. He is fully healthy and looking extremely fast so far in the off-season, plus they are actually getting him involved in the passing game now. While I don't expect him to catch more than 25 balls, it is still enough to go with his high yardage and touchdown totals. I will be very surprised if he doesn’t top 1,300 yards rushing and 10 TDs.
"
8. FootballJabber.com- Steven Jackson, RB, St. Louis
"Debated long and hard here. I actually have Fitz ahead of SJax for PPR, but the drop off at RB is so huge after Jackson that there won’t be much left by my second round pick.
"
9. Fantasy Sharks Radio- Jamaal Charles, RB, Kansas City
10. FantasyFootballXtreme.com-Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona (STEAL ALERT!)
11. FantasyStrategies.com- Randy Moss, WR, New England
12. FantasyIndex.com- Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans
"With 6 point TD passes, he just makes sense. Couldn’t be sure a top QB would make it 24 more picks.
"
