Elite UFC Lightweight Gray Maynard To Appear on Hurtsbad Radio Aug 5

Hurtsbad.com’s radio show, The Truth Hurts with Todd Jackson , is proud to announce special guest Gray “The Bully” Maynard for their August 5 show, starting at 8 pm pacific time.

Gray is an elite UFC lightweight standout and one win away from becoming the No. 1 contender to the UFC lightweight strap.

Standing in his way is another equally elite UFC lightweight Kenny “Ken Flo” Florian. Florian is looking to fight his way back to his third shot at UFC gold.

Florian will have a stout test when the cage doors close and he finds himself locked in there with “The Bully,” an Xtreme Couture product.

Gray is undefeated in his MMA career, standing at 9-0-1, with only one unique blemish on his overall record of an extremely rare double TKO with Rob Emerson over three years ago.

As mentioned before Gray trains out of the world class Xtreme Couture facility in Las Vegas Nevada, the camp run under living legend Randy Couture. Under that banner, he consistently pushes himself with some of the best fighters in the business.

Gray also holds the distinct honor of holding the lone victory over current UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, who recently dethroned the seemingly unstoppable lightweight force B.J. Penn.

With Edgar and Penn looking to rematch for the title August 28, Maynard and Florian will first decide who will be next in line. It should prove quite an interesting night of lightweight matchups that will make huge waves across the division depending on how the two tilts pan out.

Todd Jackson is looking to discuss various aspects of both Gray’s current career aspirations as well as looking back to the past. It is his absolute honor to welcome such a prestigious guest to his ever growing show.
