
WGC-Bridgestone Invitational: ESPN TV and Schedules
The WGC-Bridgestone Invitational got underway this morning with nearly half the field beginning their first round action at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
ESPN will broadcast the bulk of the afternoon action from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a number of the field's biggest names set to go off right before the broadcast begins.
Tiger Woods: 1:50 p.m. EST

Tiger takes the first tee 10 minutes before ESPN picks up the broadcast. He will be in the second to last foursome of the day.
This is a telling weekend for Tiger who has won this event on this course a record seven times. His first round will of course be closely watched.

Phil Mickelson hit the first tee at approximately 10:30 a.m. EST. Mickelson is the leader in U.S. Ryder Cup points and will likely use this event as a tune up for the upcoming challenge in Wales.
