B/R: Firstly, congratulations on your impressive win. How do you feel about earning your first victory in the UFC?

CO: I am so happy, but I could not have done it without the support of family, coaches, and training partners.

B/R: With your family being such a great influence on your introduction into Martial Arts, particularly Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, what does this victory mean to them?

CO: Everyone is very happy...even my mom.

B/R: How did you celebrate your win?

CO: I actually picked up some food, ate it in my room, and went to sleep.

B/R: Your Jiu Jitsu technique and transitions were flawless; take me through your thoughts as you were trying to set up the armbar submission on your opponent Darren Elkins.

CO: Elkins was defending well. My coaches told me that if I caught him in a triangle that he was going to stand up...So I was prepared to under hook his leg.

B/R: Did anything about the way the match went surprise you?

CO: Elkins is very strong, he has so much power.

B/R: Has anyone from the UFC management staff come to congratulate you on the victory?

CO: Yes, everyone at UFC are very nice.

B/R: With such a quick win in just your first fight in the UFC, how anxious are you to get back in the Octagon right away?

CO: I love the UFC, and want to get back as soon as I can.  I have been bugging my manager to get me back as fast as he can.

B/R: Have you had a chance to think about what your possible next moves will be?

CO: I let my coaches and manager handle that.  I just want to fight.

B/R: Once again congratulations your victory, and I look forward to seeing you in action again soon.

CO: Thank you for your interview, and I would like to thank my sponsors again Jaco, Dethrone, Kimura Media, Muscle Pharm, and my coaches Eric Cardoso and Macaco.
