Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
WR Sidney Rice, Fifth Round
Sidney Rice is still going in the fifth round or so in many mock drafts, but his stock could be falling as we get into later drafts. News continues to come out that Rice's hip is a problem and that doctors told him more than once this offseason that surgery was needed.
Rice opted to not have surgery and had a minor setback in July workouts. He should still be a go for the season, but fantasy owners need to be cautious about this situation.
RB's Michael Bush, Ninth Round/Darren McFadden, 12th
I've seen these two running backs flip-flop in mock drafts as to which one goes first. More fantasy owners seem to be willing to give Michael Bush a roll over Darren McFadden, as McFadden can't seem to stay healthy.
While I do recommend fantasy owners go with Bush over McFadden this season, I have to admit that both make for potential sleeper options. Both running backs should start the season seeing a decent amount of touches. Whichever player gets hot early (they play the Rams in Week Two) will probably go on to be the main runner. However, even if McFadden wins the job, Bush will probably make for a valuable runner later in the year, as I just feel McFadden is another Ronnie Brown, with injuries waiting to happen.
