James BrownAug 3, 2010

The NFL season finally kicks off this Sunday with the Hall of Fame Game between the Cowboys and the Bengals.

While the thought of preseason football may only excite the diehard football fan, there are several reasons to tune in this Sunday.

1) Betting on the Game

Football games are always better when you have some action on the game.

Bet Mania opened up the Bengals as a 2.5 point favorite over the Dallas Cowboys with the total posted at 32.5.

Bet Mania.com is giving a free $50 bet on the Hall of Fame game with no strings! Just sign up here and tell customer service that REGAW sent you and you get the free $50 play! They have specials for the football bettor to include a 60 percent Early Bird Bonus, -107 Reduced Juice and the Best Teaser odds.

2) The T.O./Ocho Show

The buzz around Terrell Owens joining the Bengals is unavoidable. Whether you love him or hate him, it will be interesting to see how he does on the same field with Chad Ochocinco.

The two receivers should only see limited time in this game, but T.O. should be looking forward to facing his his former team for the first time.

3) Hall of Fame inductees

This is arguably one of the best classes in NFL History. The inductees for this year are Russ Grimm, Rickey Jackson, Dick LeBeau, Floyd Little, John Randle, Jerry Rice, and Emmitt Smith.

The speeches and the stories that are shared during the induction are priceless.

The ceremony is always there to save the day even if the game turns out to be dreadful.

4) Dallas Cowboy injury watch

Dez Bryant was hit by the injury bug this week as he is out until the regular season with a high ankle sprain.

Now quarterback Tony Romo is suffering from pain in his right (throwing) arm. He is cutting back on his throws in practice but assures there is nothing to be concerned with.  “I`ve got to watch it just because you don`t want it to stay like that for an extended period of time,” Romo said after practice Sunday.

The Cowboys future depends on keeping Romo healthy.

5) Are You Ready for Some Football?

It’s football season! Finally the best sport in the world starts and it is another sign that we are closer to the real thing. It doesn’t matter if you are not a fan of either team, it will be great to watch.
