And according to the Vikings Insider who broke the Favre retirement story this morning, it seems that the front office is ready to offer more money to Brett, convincing him to play in 2010.
Judd Zulgad via twitter: "Keep in mind I'm hearing Vikings still feel the situation is fluid. As I said before still time to talk him out of it. Vikings VP Rob Brzezinski huddled with owners Zygi and Mark Wilf and exec Kevin Warren. Brzezinski is Vikes money man. More members now getting involved in discussion. I wonder how much more money is offered to Favre by the end of the day?"
Favre was scheduled to make 13 million dollars this season, which would have been the final year of the two-year, 25 million dollar contract.
So around Vikings camp, they still believe Brett Favre can return, and are willing to offer him more money to make it happen.
