Brett Favre Retires: Do You Really Believe the QB Is Done?
Minnesota Viking fans are crying on this day, and other teams in the NFL are rejoicing as Brett Favre announced he will retire.
Bet Mania and other sports books are adjusting odds on the Minnesota Vikings. This team was once feared as a Super Bowl favorite and now they are not even favored to win the NFC North.
All that is a distant memory now, after 19 seasons, Brett Favre is done with professional football.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Favre has sent text messages to teammates saying, "This is it," league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
So this is it and it’s time to move on, or is it?
After all we have heard this song and dance before. He retired in 2007 with the Packers and again in 2008 with the Jets. In fact last year the aging superstar quarterback told the Vikings that he was not going to play for them, but two weeks later he showed up in training camp.
The Vikings are not just going to let him walk out will they? They will be begging him to come back, just one more time, to take one last shot at the Super Bowl.
If Favre doesn't return, the Vikings' starting quarterback job likely will be decided in a training camp battle between Sage Rosenfels and Tarvaris Jackson. Oh boy, Favre would not leave the Vikings like this would he?
After all if he retired after last year the Vikings could have had a chance at Donovan Mcnabb, Jason Campbell, or Marc Bulger. Now the Vikings are left with a gaping hole at quarterback and plenty of questions that need to be answered.
Could it be that Brett Favre wanted more of the spotlight? LeBron James stole most of the summer headlines leaving Favre on the back page. This would be his chance to feel wanted again, to get that spotlight to have the entire world speculating about his return and the future of the Vikings.
Brett Favre will always be considered a great quarterback for what he did in this league and I will be sad to see him go. I am just not sure if that time is now.
